Clover & Cobbler’s In-House Brand Portfolio
Our in-house brands include Jaclyn Jones USA, Salpy, and Californians – all three of which are manufactured and managed by Clover & Cobbler. While each of our brands is handcrafted under one roof by the hands of skilled craftsmen and women, each brand has its own unique story. From overall aesthetic to techniques and materials used, each of our respective brands has developed a unique identity within the industry. Get to know our in-house brands below!
Jaclyn Jones USA
Rooted in luxurious comfort, the Jaclyn Jones USA brand was founded by footwear designer, Jaclyn Jones, in 2017. The mission behind Jaclyn Jones USA was to tackle the notion that excellent style requires a sacrifice in comfort. In an industry vastly dominated by male owners and designers, it’s no wonder that most luxury shoes are so uncomfortable – they were designed by men who never have to wear them! Instead, as a female owned and led company, we design shoes for women who love the thrill of finding daring, head-turning pieces that can actually be worn all day and all night. Our shoes are handcrafted in small batches – only up to 18 pairs per style – and feature the highest quality leathers and materials, custom hardware and 4mm thick custom insoles. The end result is shoes that are both stunning and wearable.
SALPY
Salpy was originally founded by husband-and-wife team and previous factory owners, Salpy and Kevork Kalaidjian, in 2000 and acquired by Jaclyn Jones in 2018. The brand fuses an artistic eye for composition and advanced knowledge of construction to design each collection. With a strong loyal following, the Salpy brand reflects the personal style of its customers – effortlessly chic yet rooted in comfort & quality. Rather than following the fleeting trends of the moment, our timeless styles are built to last. Entirely handcrafted in our Los Angeles factory, our footwear is designed with patterns, shapes and materials can be worn season after season. With lush, cushioned footbeds, our shoes conform to the shape of your foot and grow even more comfortable over time.
CALIFORNIANS
The newest addition to our in-house portfolio, Californians, launched in Winter 2018. Californians is inspired by our feel-good moments and designed to accompany you through yours. Founded and designed by 60’s surf culture and footwear industry veteran, Californians is reminiscent of the laid-back culture of our Golden State’s early days. Designed and handcrafted with love in California, our collection consists of tried-and-true classics with contemporary twists. Our timeless styles exude modern ease – just like your favorite pair of Levi’s jeans. The end result is footwear that spurs conversation, evokes nostalgia, and preserves the era of California’s Golden Age.
PRIVATE LABEL
In addition to our in-house brands, we also offer everything from sample prototyping and components manufacturing to full-line footwear production to both small and large private label clients. At Clover & Cobbler, we aim to shake up the industry, offering emerging designers and existing footwear brands a refreshed, organized approach to manufacturing in the USA. As a female owned-and-led company, Clover & Cobbler aims to breathe the life of a new generation into a centuries-old craft. We aim to redefine the perception of a long-standing industry and bring it into the modern day.
